Costumes!
Personally, I LOVE dressing in costumes, so naturally Halloween is very fun to me. I will probably always dress up on Halloween no matter how old I am. I have had many Halloween costumes over the years, Angels, Beauty Queens, Witches, Princesses, Pumpkins...and many more. This year was my favorite costume by far, but I don't get to wear it because I have to work tonight, which makes me sad. This year I decided to be a Hooters girl. My friends sister used to be one so I borrowed the uniform from him. It looks so funny on! I have the orange shorts, white tank top, and the little apron/straw holder thing to tie around my waist. I was going to by hose, and socks to finish the costume, but since I didn't get to this year, I will just have to wear it next year. :)

Haunted House

1. Netherworld - Atlanta, Georgia
Netherworld is truly an awe-inspiring haunted house. They deserve particular credit because, though they buy standard animatronics and such, they then take them and re-create and re-invent them to make everything truly unique to their haunted house. They also have arguably the best make-up team in the industry. It would be hard to tell one of their fake dead apart from a real dead person.
this haunted house is the one i would want to go to, not only would it scare the bejeezus out of me, but it's also close to home. well only about 3 hours away. :)
Superstitions
I'm not superstitious at all, I don't believe in it. But I know that many people do.
ORIGIN:
Before the invention of mirrors, man gazed at his reflection, his "other self," in pools, ponds, and lakes. If the image was distorted, it was a mark of impending disaster. The "unbreakable" metal mirrors of the early Egyptians and Greeks were valued items because of their magical properties. After glass mirrors were introduced, it was the Romans who tagged the broken mirror a sign of bad luck. The length of the prescribed misfortune, 7 years, came from the Roman belief that man's body was physically rejuvenated every 7 years, and he became, in effect, a new man.

Long life!
Well if all those things equal a long life, I will have a pretty long one. My legs are pretty strong, i used to exercise a lot. I need to start back going to the gym. My mom had me young, she was 20 years old. And I looooooooove blueberries, they are probably my favorite fruit, or I guess you would say my favorite berry. :) The only thing that won't prolong my life, from that list, is the sodas. I'm a soda addict, for sure. I drink sodas everyday, I know it isn't the healthiest thing in the world, but can't help it.

Sundays At DQ
Sundays are the busiest days at Dairy Queen, right around after church in the morning and evening. It's so hectic, and stressful. Yesterday was the first time I worked a full Sunday shift, and I hated it. Everyone working told me that it wasn't even busy compared to summer Sundays. Which is a very scary thought. It's so difficult making 5 ice creams, and trying to remember what they wanted on this sundae and what they didn't want on another, while at the same time going to go look for sundae cups because they ran out at the front. And While making ice cream everyone else is running around like a chicken with its head cut off and doing the same thing as you, and bumping into each other. One time I ran into a girl working, and she spilled Blue Raspberry Artic Rush everywhere. It's definitely my least favorite day to work, and I don't look forward to working more Sunday's.

Wiki
wi·ki
(wĭk'ē) n. pl. wi·kis
A collaborative website whose content can be edited by anyone who has access to it.
A wiki allows anyone to edit, or delete content that has been placed on this site, even other authors work. It has been found to work very well, surprisingly, since contributors seem to be more persistent than vandals. It helps because when you find info on the Internet that you know is incorrect you can quickly, click Edit, and fix it.

Compliments
The best compliment I've ever recieved? Well I'm not sure, I mean ever in my life, that's a lot of compliments. I've had a ton of compliments when people are like i love your shirt, you look cute today, etc. But one really nice one I remember was this girl at work monday told me that I have the prettiest eyes, and lips. Which I found to be really nice.

People These Days
When I hear things like this, it makes me mad. Police should be worried with more important things, instead of a kids football. A football costs what a couple of dollars? I'm sure that kids dad can buy him another. And I hardly doubt that woman just took it because it landed in her yard, he could have been harassing her, throwing it in her yard on purpose. She was 86, she is old and senile, she shouldn't be charged with petty theft over something so stupid.

If I had a child tomorrow and it was a boy I would name him Derick Gerard, and if it was a girl I would name her Adeline Bella.

Last Night
I didn't watch the last debate last night, I was working, and didn't get home until 10:30. I probably wouldn't have watched it anyways mainly because I won't be 18 until April so I don't get to vote this year. I'm not saying I don't have an interest in what is going on, but since I don't get to vote I just don't see the point.

Dairy Queen
I recently got my first part-time job, working at Dairy Queen. And even though my workload at school is very light i have discovered having a job, and going to school can be exhausting, I take as many naps as possible :). I usually work 3-4 days a week, and work 5 hours on weekdays and 6 hours on weekends. Dairy Queen is a particularly easy job. Making ice cream is really easy, and the cash register is also easy, it just takes some familiarizing. I'm super excited because I get my first paycheck today. I have worked 18 hours, so after school I'm going to get it, and then go set up a bank account at Ameris.

debate
I didn't watch the debate but Blaine told me about it. She said McCain was more excited than he usually is, and Obama was more calm, and laid back. She also told me that they talked a lot about the financial Crisis.

One of my goals was to do really well on the SAT this month, and I have taken it, but I haven't recieved my scores yet, I think I did pretty good, but I guess I won't know until I get my scores back. Another goal I had, that I didn't put on the list, was to get a job. And I worked for the first time last night, I am proud of myself for getting a job, finally! My grades are pretty good. I know I have A's in my electives, and hopefully I have A's in Math, and Lit. I hope to keep my grades up, and not to get senioritis.

Hershey's Candy Corn Candies
I love, love, LOVE chocolate, it doesn't matter what kind, milk, dark, or even white is so delicious. Another thing I love around Halloween is Candy Corn, so I'm pretty sure I will love the Hershey Candy Corn candy. As soon as I get a job I will go get some from Wal Mart.
